When to visit ?

Courchevel reveals its immaculate valleys from December to March. Top notch skiing, snowshoeing, luxury shopping and Savoyard specialities will all be there for you. However, you can travel to Courchevel all year. The weather is warm from June to September, and the scenery is magnificent and lush. The atmosphere  is different: if winter is about luxury, summer in Courchevel is more about outdoor sports. Will it be skiing in winter or quiet Courchevel summer holidays ?

How to get here ?

The villages of Courchevel are accessible by plane or train from all over Europe, via Lyon or Geneva. Courchevel altiport is only 3 km from Courchevel 1850. You can also reach Courchevel by car, following the serpentine routes. If you choose the winter season for your Courchevel ski holidays, make sure your car is prepared with snow tires.

Megève

Megève is an exclusive Alpine ski resort in established by the Rothschild family in the 1920s as an alternative to St. Moritz. It was a favourite destination for French aristocrats and remains one today. As well as being a ski holiday destination, Megève is a cultural center that maintains a delightful French ambiance and an atmosphere of elegance and style. Luxury chalets are abundant in Megève.

Its charming car-free village centre circles a medieval-style square displaying a wide range of architecture styles. When to visit ?

The Megève region can be discovered all year round. December to March for skiing, the Christmas tree lightning on central plaza mid-December is something ! Those who love hiking can choose between the snowy landscapes in winter and the beautiful green valleys in summer. Biking in Megève is also a very good option, either for road bike or mountain biking (The Tour de France has passed through in the last years). Yearly events like Jazz in Megève or like Toquicimes attract guests in quieter seasons. Megève weather has something for everyone.

How to get here ?

Nestled in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, at an altitude of 1100 meters, and served by a very well-maintained road with almost no hairpin turns, the village of Megève is very easy to access. On top of that, it is only an hour away from Geneva airport. Private jets and of course helicopters can land at Megève altiport, situated just 10 minutes away from Megève village center.

Chamonix

The stunning Mont Blanc dominates the landscape of Chamonix, which has been a popular winter holiday destination for centuries and hosted the 1924 Winter Olympics. Prior to this, Chamonix was an extremely popular base for mountaineering and this legacy continues to the present day.

Located in the Valley, running for 20 kilometers from Les Houches to Le Tour, Chamonix offers one of the most captivating settings to enjoy a luxury ski holiday. Its picturesque old town is car-free, with cobble streets and beautiful buildings.

Chamonix’s chalet rentals are located throughout the resort, most within walking distance or a short drive from the slopes.

The shops in Chamonix offer everything from souvenirs to top climbing equipment. There are many bars and restaurants for après-ski dining and socializing. Alternatively, for those renting a catered chalet in Chamonix, delicious food will be served in the privacy of their home.

When to visit ?

There is no off-season for a stay in a chalet in Chamonix because the scenery is magical all year round. Nature lovers will be spoilt for choice at any time of year, but the best time to visit will depend on your interests and the experience you want to live.

If you love hiking, go for a holiday in a Chamonix chalet rental in the summer months to explore the trails and meet marmots and mountain ibexes along the way. Fans of skiing and other mountain sports opt for our Chamonix ski chalets in winter, when the village is coated in a deep layer of white powder.

How to get here ?

This region at the foot of Mont Blanc is as easy to get to as it is breathtaking.

To reach your chalet in Chamonix, you first fly into Geneva airport. Geneva Airport is the closest airport to Chamonix, just one hour on a fast and easy road. A transfer from the airport to your Chamonix chalet rental is the easiest and most comfortable option. The easiest way to get to Chamonix by train is through St. Gervais-le Fayet. Located 20km away from the ski resort, it is served by TER regional trains and the TGV (high speed train). If you are reaching Chamonix by helicopter, you can easily land at CMBH heliport in Argentière, just a few minuts from Chamonix.

St-Gervais-les-Bains

Saint Gervais Mont Blanc is home to the highest mountain in Europe, the Mont Blanc. It is a pleasant village set above a valley in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif. Featuring 19th century architecture, Saint Gervais is a charming village that has been welcoming visitors since 1806 to its curative thermal waters. It is still the case nowadays, but the resort is also very much known for its ski area shared with famous Megève. The ski area, Evasion Mont Blanc, features 400 km of slopes.

Situated right between Megève and Chamonix, a luxury ski holiday in Saint Gervais Mont Blanc gives you the opportunity to jump to these neighboring resorts for a diner and all kind of mountain experiences during your stay. It is also possible to access the slopes of Les Houches in the Chamonix valley via the historic mountain railway, the Mont-Blanc Tramway. With its diverse range of activities, family-friendly atmosphere and luxury ski chalets, Saint Gervais Mont Blanc is a fantastic place to recharge one’s batteries and enjoy new experiences. Situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, Saint Gervais Mont Blanc is a year-round resort with a variety of cultural offerings. Don’t miss out on a visit to the famous thermal baths, home to multiple spring water pools, both indoors and outdoors. The town also has an Olympic-size ice rink for skating, ice hockey and curling. The village is divided into St Gervais les Bains village center, at 850 meters high and Les Communailles and St Nicolas de Véroce at 1200 meters high, with direct access to the slopes.

When to visit ?

Saint Gervais Mont Blanc village can be discovered all year round. December to March for all kind of winter activities. Biking from Saint Gervais is also a very good option, either for road bike or mountain biking. The Tour de France, Tour de l’avenir, Critérium du Dauphiné have gone through the village and its surroundings quite a few times these last years. Hiking from Saint Gervais is a very good idea during summer season.

How to get here ?

Nestled in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, at an altitude of 850 meters, the village of Saint Gervais is very easy to access by car. Even high speed trains (TGV) reach the lower part of the village, 10 minutes from city center. On top, it is only an hour away from Geneva airport. Megève altiport is 25 minutes away, Chamonix altiport is 30 minutes away.

Cannes

Ideally located in one of the most stunning bays on Earth, the glamorous city of Cannes is a year-round destination where we’ve been partly living for years. Its Palaces, luxury boutiques, gourmet restaurants and private beaches fit perfectly with a stunning surrounding nature. 

Cannes is well known for its spectacular lineup of world-class events such as the famous International Film Festival at its centerpiece.

Cannes and its bay is also known for the architecture that can be admired from the sky by airplane or helicopter, with historic monuments such as the majestic Château Thorenc, which was built in the 1870s for the Duchess of Bedford, the eccentric Palais Bulles designed by the famous architect Annti Lovag or the breathtaking islands of Lérins which are the perfect anchoring spot for a sailing day. The proximity to Nice, Monaco and the Italian border on the east side and Saint-Tropez on the west side makes the location of Cannes the place to be to enjoy the entire Côte d’Azur and its beautiful countrysides full of lavender fields and olive trees. The French Riviera stretches along the southern coast of France and is one of the most wonderful destinations worldwide.

When to visit ?

Cannes is an all year-round destination, providing warm summers and balmy winters. The hottest time of the year is during July and August, which is ideal for beaches and pools, coveted by tourists. For this reason, renting a luxury Villa is a a good option to keep you away from packed hotels and crowded places.

May is usually the busiest month, with the world’s elite coming for the Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.

How to get here ? 

Access to your luxury Villa in Cannes is very easy. From Nice-Côte d’Azur international airport, it takes around 30 minutes by car to get to Cannes city center. Cannes-Mandelieu airport is around 15 minutes from Cannes city center but is reserved to private and business aviation. High speed trains arrive in Cannes railway station which located downtown.
